Band and Orchestra Festival
The Santa Monica - Malibu Unified School District will host a SCSBOA Band and Orchestra Festival in Barnum Hall on the Santa Monica High School Campus on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, and Thursday, March 24, 2011. Wednesday the 23rd will be for Concert Bands, and Thursday the 24th will be for Orchestras. This Festival will be adjudicated by the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA).
Reservations
Please complete the application form (under the forms tab) and submit it, along with an entrance fee for each ensemble. Ensembles will be scheduled on a first paid first scheduled basis. Every year the schedule fills up (especially the band day), and schools must often join a waiting list - hoping for another school to drop out. The earlier one submits the entrance fee, the more likely one will secure a place on the schedule.
